IVY BRIDGE ACADEMY ACADEMIC CAMPS

Debate Camps

  • Elementary Students +

    Intro to Public Speaking & Basic Public Forum Debate - This novice session is designed for our younger students who have no prior debate experience. This session will not specialize in any one type of debate but will focus on hands-on skills development in flowing, research, speaking and refutation, the foundations of every debate platform.

  • Middle School Students +

    Public Forum Debate - This 1 week session will focus on debate fundamentals such as flowing and speaking as well as skills particular to the PF format, such as case construction, research skills for a one-month topic rotation, and debate strategy. This session is designed for students with some debate experience.

  • High School Students +

    Policy Debate - This 1 week session is offered for debaters with at least some policy debate competition under their belts who have an interest in developing advanced skills and knowledge about debate strategy and the topic. Students will focus on learning how to develop and create new arguments and be successful at both the regional and national levels.
