The process of debate offers profound and lasting benefits for individuals.  With its emphasis on critical thinking, effective communication, independent research and teamwork, debate teaches skills that serve individuals well throughout their lives.

What are the benefits?

Now that you have an idea of what speech and debate is, let’s look at the benefits

of participating in a forensics program.

  Students who participate in forensics will:
